Doctor Bio

I am a Doctor of Chiropractic specializing in modern manual therapies and lifestyle-specific rehabilitation.
My practice is focused on an evidenced-informed, patient-centered approach. I received my chiropractic education at Life Chiropractic College West with triple clinical honors. Before pursuing my Doctorate in Chiropractic in the Bay Area, I studied Kinesiology at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California.

About Me

Born and raised in San Diego, my ideal day off includes hitting the gym in the morning before picking up a California burrito or acai bowl for lunch (typically eaten at the beach, too), then camping out at Better Buzz with a rugby coaching or strength and conditioning book, and ending the day with a neighborhood walk and spending some quality time with family.

Early life

Growing up, my whole family worked in the healthcare - I was encouraged from a young age to help others. Playing high level rugby since my freshman year of high school, I have endured a plethora of injuries. Having experienced the client side of rehabilitation and sports medicine, I took my first athletic training class in high school and fell in love with the field of sports medicine.

Undergraduate

I entered college majoring in Kinesiology with an emphasis in pre-physical therapy. This changed in my junior year after taking an internship with a local chiropractor. I loved the idea of running my own intimate clinic, having autonomy in client management, and developing long-term, personal relationships with clients. I was offered and accepted a rugby scholarship to Life Chiropractic College West on an accelerated track.

Doctor of Chiropractic

Playing D1 rugby in a doctorate program was challenging to say the least. I had full-time commitments Monday through Saturday and Sundays were typically spent studying, attending outside seminars, or exploring the Bay Area.

Athletic Training

I was selected to be the first student athletic trainer for Life West’s newly founded Sports Performance Institute. This new role added responsibilities such as working sideline at sporting events, hosting open treatment hours throughout the week, assisting with pre/post game therapies, and composing injury reports.  This has blossomed into more medical supporting roles in San Diego and beyond.
